Lyn Moore (Nanny)

Lyn is no stranger to patrons of Ennis Public Theatre, although her appearance on stage for the first time anywhere may catch a few by surprise. More commonly, Lyn is found working the front counter, selling advertising, helping dress Patsy Cline, or performing other duties associated with her position on the theatre board of directors. Lyn is one of the greatest, most active and longest-standing supporters of the theatre. She relishes her first opportunity to appear on stage and promises she knows all her lines.
Lyn was born in Houston, received her AA from Stephens College in Missouri, and completed a BA in psychology at SMU. In 1959, she and husband Bill moved to Ennis where Bill practiced law and became involved in land investment. Lyn now manages over 2000 acres of farmland as head of Moore Properties and spends some time on her ranch in George West. She enjoys traveling and being with her sons, Mark and Cullen, her daughter-in-law Trish, and her grandchildren, Maks and Masha.
