Lisa Roswell (Beatrice)

Lisa has been performing for most of her life.  At the advanced age of three years, she began singing opera recitals…in the back yard…to no one.  Later she discovered the benefits of performing before a live audience, and has been involved with Dallas Repertory Theatre, Theatre Three of Dallas (where she was Major Stone for Happy End and part of the six-member ensemble for Side By Side By Sondheim), and other independent theatrical endeavors.  Lisa has played such roles as Vera in Mame, Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man, Lady Thiang in The King & I, and most recently Queen Aggravain in Once Upon A Mattress.  She sang one season with The Dallas Opera chorus, sharing the stage with her husband, Brian.  Her proudest performing moment came when she sang a medley of Glenn Miller songs with the Metropolitan Winds at the Meyerson during their Spring 2009 concert.

Christy enjoys school and is currently looking at colleges and considering a major in a science-related field.
