A New Schedule For Shows!

Beginning in August 2011, Ennis Public Theatre will feature a new schedule of performances. Instead of nine performances over four weeks, the same nine performances will now span three weeks. This will be accomplished by having two Thursday evening performances on the first two weeks of a show’s run. The first two weekends of performances will therefore be Thursday-Friday-Saturday. The final weekend will remain Friday-Saturday- Sunday Matinee. We hope this will open the theatre to a new group of theatergoers who find it difficult to attend weekend performances. Ennis Public Theatre Institutes Scholarship Next season, local high school seniors will have the opportunity to apply for the first Ennis Public Theatre college scholarship. The scholarship will be available to a deserving graduate who plans to pursue the Fine Arts in college. Details will be provided to local schools during the 2011-12 school year and a winner will be announced in May 2012.

An October Showcase for Local Talent

In October 2011 the Ennis Public Theatre stage will be turned over to you for the first “Ennis Public Theatre’s Got Talent” competition. If you have talent, or know someone who does, watch for entry details for a chance to compete for cash prizes. If you do not compete, you have the opportunity to come to every performance and see a different show each time. “Ennis Public Theatre’s Got Talent” will offer fun for the whole family. See schedule
