Called “the funniest farce ever written,” Noises Off presents a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing’s On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.
The Premature Corpse
By Mike Johnson
May 17 - June 2nd
This masterfully plotted show has so many twists and turns which on the surface, is a ”love triangle" tale: State's witness Evan Jorris, is under a government protection program after testifying against the mob. His wife, Francine, who, along with her lover, lawyer Larry Craig, contrives to do away with her husband. The are confident that Evan's protector, federal agent Bert Marshak, will logically assume that the mob did the deed and never suspect them. This deceptively simple setup, however, is not at all what it seems.
